Amplid''s big-mountain freeride flagship, built with a mellow directional sidecut, minimal taper, and subtle tip rocker rather than the deep-rocker approach many competing powder-freeride boards take. Unidirectional carbon stringers, biaxially laminated basalt stringers, and Amplid''s Viscodamp TPU vibration-damping strips reinforce the poplar core. Blister''s in-depth review found the tail stiffer than Amplid''s own Flight Attendant, with about average torsional flex for a freeride board (roughly 7/10) -- excellent for railing large-radius carves and slarves on both fresh corduroy and chopped-up groomers, quick edge-to-edge and dependable through ruts at a banked slalom course, and composed at high speed thanks to its stiff, damp construction.
