Weston
The touring version of Weston's flagship powder shape, engineered from the base up rather than simply cut from the solid version -- Karakoram tip and tail clips, a short rounded tail for a nimble, tail-heavy climbing balance, and the same multi-radial camber-rocker profile as the solid Backwoods. OutdoorGearLab named it their top splitboard pick, praising incredible flotation and maneuverability in powder, strong edge hold on firm snow, and a nimble, balanced climb thanks to the tail-heavy weight distribution. Mountain Weekly News independently echoed this, calling it a surprise standout able to handle everything from deep snow to steep, firm lines, with a snappy, playful feel underfoot for how large the board is at longer lengths.
